Kelly Ochoa is a Project Associate providing support to GRI’s projects and operations in Iraq and Tunisia.
Ms. Ochoa worked with a local non-profit organization CORA and in local government in the County of San Mateo, under the office of District 5 Supervisor David J. Canepa. Her work focused on gender related topics and education in the Bay Area, such as women’s leadership and empowerment in the workforce and supporting low-income youth in education. Her previous experience also focused on administration, as well as event and program coordination.
Ms. Ochoa is a recent graduate from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, and a concentration in international relations and comparative politics. She has native fluency in Spanish. Ms. Ochoa grew up in Pacifica, CA. She enjoys scenic
